Designed by architect George Coles, the Troxy is a key part of East London’s architectural heritage, and the perfect upgrade for our biggest and best ceremony yet.
At the time of its opening in 1933 on the site of an old brewery, the Troxy was the largest cinema in England at that time – with a capacity of over 3,000. Today it caters for music concerts, ceremonies, film screenings, indoor sport, parties, weddings and more. In 2013 NME editor Mike Williams called it one of London’s ‘oldest, coolest and most iconic venues’.
