The Building with Nature Award recognises the design, delivery and management of great places for people and wildlife. 

It is free to enter and is open to recipients of a Building with Nature Accreditation.

What we are celebrating

This Award celebrates residential, commercial and community infrastructure schemes which have secured Building with Nature Accreditation – including Design Award and Full Award winners.

Entrants to this category can showcase how they have secured high-quality green infrastructure features at every stage of development: from planning, design, and implementation, through to management, maintenance, and monitoring.

Limitations

To enter this Award: 

  • The entrant must be able to demonstrate that they are in receipt of a Full Accreditation for Building with Nature. This includes: Building with Nature Design Award; Full Award – subject to Post-Construction Check; and Full Award – signed off Post-Construction.

Judging criteria

This award will be scored by an independent panel of judges against our Judging Criteria:

  • Design 
  • Sustainability 
  • Value 
  • Professionalism
